“Because he clings to Me in love,
 I will rescue him from harm;
 I will set him above danger.
Because he has known Me by name,
He will call on Me, and I will answer.
 I’ll be with him through hard times;
 I’ll rescue him and grant him honor.
I’ll reward him with many good years on this earth
and let him witness My salvation.”

-Psalm 91:14-16 [VOICE]

A Time to Think… “Today as we remember the victims of the terror attack of September 11th, 2001, we are also reminded that God is Sovereign and we need to trust Him in all things.” -Chuck Swindoll, pastor, author, educator, founder of Insight for Living

A Time to Act and Pray… We looked at the minute-by-minute tragic events of 9/11/2001. 4 planes took off within 12 minutes of each other. All ended up being hijacked with innocent people in multiple cities being the target of their assault against us. All crashed, killing 228 passengers, 8 pilots, and 25 flight attendants as well as over 2,700 civilians at the crash sites. A total of 2,976 innocent, defenseless, surprised, and escape-less people were murdered that day. The question is, where is God in a tragedy like this? There is no way to lessen the blow, no way to grieve enough for those who died and their families, no way to fully understand and cry enough for how much changed that day. But if we believe the Bible is true, then God was there. For God is in all things. His will is done. Even if it is painful. There is a purpose for it to glorify Him, and we are called to seek Him and love Him. -Chuck Swindoll
