“Now if your experience of Christ’s encouragement
and love means anything to you,
if you have known something of the fellowship of his Spirit,
and all that it means in kindness and deep sympathy,\
do make my best hope for you come true!
Live together in harmony, live together in love,
as though you had only one mind and one spirit between you.
Never act from motives of rivalry or personal vanity,
but in humility think more of each other than you do of yourselves.
None of you should think only of his own affairs,
but should learn to see things from other people’s point of view.”

-Philippians 1:2-4 [J.B. Phillips]

A Time to Think… “At the end of your time here, the world will either be more or less kind, compassionate, generous, funny, creative and loving because of your presence in it—and you alone get to choose.” ―John Pavlovitz, Pastor

A Time to Act…  Use your words to uplift yourself and others. After all, is it exactly your desire that others do this to you isn’t it? And what a simple way to make our world a better place!

A Time to Pray… O Lord, fill me with concern for others, give me strength to help them and remind me that I often need that same concern and strength from others for myself. Teach me to be more like Jesus, that my time here on earth leaves the footprints of his love and grace for those in need. Hear my prayer, O Lord, AMEN.
