“The Lord is his people’s strength;
he is a fortress of protection for his anointed one.”

-Psalm 28:8 [DLB]

A Time to Think… “Worry is the darkroom in which negatives can develop.” – Wanda E. Brunstetter, Mennonite Deaconess and Author

A Time to Act… Worry is not what you want to wake up to on this new day—in fact, worry sucks the life out of us and easily ruins each day. The best way to scurry that worry out of your life is pray with the Lord, who is our strength and fortress. There is no other you can turn to for release of worry. It’s time to pray!

A Time to Pray… O Lord of all and Lord of my life, help me to shed worry and embrace the strength you have for me. When I want to fret, set my mind upon your goodness and turn my thoughts to your love and grace that is always there in my worrisome times. Thank you for always being with me no matter what, AMEN!
