“When the earth and all its people quake,
it is I who hold its pillars firm.”
– Psalm 75:3 [NIV]

A Time to Think… God expects us to put His instruction into practice by bolstering, propping up, strengthening and sustaining each other.  ―Rev. John O. Reid (1930-2016)

A Time to Act… What holds you up? As you awaken today, think of the “pillars” in your life. Those are the ones who have bolstered you in tough times, reminded you of God’s strength and provision and given you a new outlook. Today, be like one of those pillars. Seek out someone whose “pillar” is breaking—they need you. After all, a pillar, no matter how well constructed, can only serve its function if it is set on a solid foundation.

A Time to Pray… O God of strength and love, without you my pillars would crack in pieces and end in dust. Thank you for keeping my foundation firm. It is in your grace and the people you have put in my life that I can stand firm and live out my faith walk in this lifetime. I am forever grateful, AMEN!
