“Do not slack in your faithfulness and hard work. Let your spirit be on fire, bubbling up and boiling over, as you serve the Lord. Do not forget to rejoice, for hope is always just around the corner. Hold up through the hard times that are coming, and devote yourselves to prayer. Share what you have with the saints, so they lack nothing; take every opportunity to open your life and home to others.” -Romans 12:11-13 [The Voice Translation]
A Time to Think… “No one has ever become poor by giving.” Anne Frank, German-born Jewish diarist and Holocaust victim
A Time to Act… Take time during you week to look for one practical way to help someone in need. Share a meal, donate to the food pantry, spread encouragement—there is so much you can help with others and you will find that it helps you too! Believe it or not, small acts of kindness can make a big difference!
A Time to Pray… Oh precious Savior, open my eyes to the needs around me. Show me how to share the blessings you have given me so that others may experience your love and care. May I see people in your eyes so I may understand their needs and I can help them. AMEN.
