Jesus said, “Don’t bicker among yourselves over me. You’re not in charge here. The Father who sent me is in charge. He draws people to me—that’s the only way you’ll ever come. Only then do I do my work, putting people together, setting them on their feet, ready for the End. This is what the prophets meant when they wrote, ‘And then they will all be personally taught by God.’ -John 6:44-46 MSG

A Time to Think…
“Jesus is the hinge on which the door of history swings, the point at which eternity intersects with time and, the Savior who redeems time by drawing all things to himself.”  -Rev. Billy Graham

A Time to Act…
In this new year, what hinge on your door swings open to the love of Christ? Or is it shut, as you try to do things your way and are frustrated. Open the door my friends, Jesus is here for you now and forever. Give up your stubborn ways and let Jesus draw you into his love, grace, and mercy.

A Time to Pray…
O Lord, it is so easy to get bitter today. We live in a world of anger, immense changes, and I find myself wondering “what comes next?” Holy Spirit, soften my heart so Jesus can draw it to himself, where I can find comfort and strength for each day. O my Savior, hear my prayer, AMEN.
