Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.

A Time to Think … “Ceremonies are important. But our gratitude has to be more than visits to the troops, and once-a-year Memorial Day ceremonies. We honor the dead best by treating the living well.”  ―Jennifer M. Granholm, 16th United States Secretary of Energy, 47th Governor of Michigan

A Time to Act …As I rise today may I be aware that many of those who fought for my liberties do not rise in this lifetime anymore for they have given the ultimate sacrifice.

A Time to Pray… O Lord, help me to live upright and honest, caring for my fellow brothers and sisters, so that I may be worthy of those who died for my freedom. They are gifts you have given me and all my fellow citizens. May this be a day of remembrance and solemn grace and prayer, AMEN.
