Don’t be impatient. Wait for the Lord, and he will come and save you!

Be brave, stouthearted, and courageous. Yes, wait and he will help you.

Psalm 27: 14 —TLB

A Time to Think … “Biblically, waiting is not just something we have to do until we get what we want. Waiting is part of the process of becoming what God wants us to be.” ―John Ortberg, author and pastor.

A Time to Act … Waiting is never anyone’s favorite, but the Lord has established waiting for it is in those times we can listen, hear God’s voice and the wisdom of his ways, and during this waiting our character and our actions will be refined, conforming us to all that God has for us in this life.

A Time to Pray… O Lord, I will work to be patient and wait upon your direction, but I need to help to do that because my humanity wants everything “right now!” Set me down, that I may be quiet and listen, and fill me up with all that you want me to be. I ask this in the precious name of Jesus, AMEN.
