“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials,
for we know that they help us develop endurance.
And endurance develops strength of character,
and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.
And this hope will not lead to disappointment.
For we know how dearly God loves us,
because he has given us the Holy Spirit
to fill our hearts with his love.”
– Romans 5:3-5 NLT

A Time to Think … “We are all wounded. But wounds are necessary for God’s healing light to enter into our beings. Without wounds and failures and frustrations and defeats, there will be no opening for his brilliance to trickle in and invade our lives.”  ―Bo Sanchez, Author & Teacher

A Time to Act … We wake up each day, sometimes tending to the wounds, other times wondering how many more things will wound us. God tells us this is NOT a good way to awaken to a new day he has for us. Instead, let’s wake-up with a “Good morning Lord, no matter what comes my way today I know you are there in every moment. Help me to see you, trust you, and live with JOY for my day!” Now that should jump-start your day don’t you think?!

A Time to Pray… O Jesus, Friend and Savior, your wounds were my healing yet I sit and pity my wounds instead of seeing the blessings and healing you keep sending my way. Open my eyes to see, open my heart to let healing being, and open my mind to embrace what you have taught me and promised for me. May your healing light invade my gloom and set my feet on a path of grace with my soul singing your praises, AMEN!
