“One day an expert on Moses’ laws came to test Jesus’ orthodoxy by asking him this question:
“Teacher, what does a man need to do to live forever in heaven?”
Jesus replied, “What does Moses’ law say about it?”
“It says,” he replied, “that you must love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind.
And you must love your neighbor just as much as you love yourself.”
“Right!” Jesus told him. “Do this and you shall live!”
The man wanted to justify his lack of love for some kinds of people,
so he asked, “Which neighbors?”

A Time to Think… In God’s wisdom, He frequently chooses to meet our needs by showing His love toward us through the hands and hearts of others.  ―Jack Hayford, Pastor, Author, Composer

A Time to Act… As you arise today, ask God to show you someone who needs to know about his heart of love and grace. It is through you the find God and through you meeting their needs, they see God in action!

A Time to Pray… O God, I often live with blinders on, spewing out my distaste for people I think are not doing what they should do, judging them for variety of reasons, instead of seeing them as the child YOU created! Help me to help others as you, O Lord, have helped me. Remind me of those who stepped into my life to bolster my faith and keep me from falling. I want to be the heart and hands of you, my Lord, help me to do that. In your name I ask it, AMEN.
