“To give to those who mourn in Zion, Joy and gladness instead of grief, A song of praise instead of sorrow. They will be like trees That the Lord himself has planted. They will all do what is right, And God will be praised for what he has done.”  –Isaiah 61:3 [GNT]

A Time to Think…
“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.”
-Robert Louis Stevenson- Scottish novelist, essayist, poet and travel writer

A Time to Act…
When you awake on this day, try to do one thing today that will bless someone else in the future. Take time to pray for your children or grandchildren, encourage a young person, or give your time to a ministry that will outlast you.

A Time to Pray…
Dear precious Lord, help me to plant seeds of faith that will take root in the lives of those who come after me. Help me to share my faith without fear, and give me the strength to plant the seeds of your joy, hope, forgiveness and love, AMEN.
