“A new command I give you:
Love one another.
As I have loved you,
so you must love one another.”

-John 13:34 NIV

A Time to Think … “The greatest joys in life are found not only in what we do and feel, but also in our quiet hopes and labors for others.” ―Bryant McGill

A Time to Act … When we arise today, let’s ask ourselves “what would bring me joy today?” If we start our day wanting to embrace joy, we will find it many ways. God will bring to mind us that our family and friends are some of God’s greatest gifts, let that bring joyful memories to your day. And let’s continue to look for that joy in all that we do on this day because it will spill over to another day, another person, in fact, it is the most contagious thing we need to share with one another!

A Time to Pray… O Lord, thank You, for my family and my friends and the joy we have with one another. Point me to others that may cross my path today who need a dose of joy and hope. Remind me that all these people are Your people and I need to see them as precious blessings. In this new year I ask for a better lens in how I see others so I can share the joy of the Gospel and the power of Jesus who always loves everyone. AMEN.
