“But they who wait for the Lord
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.

-Isaiah 40: 31 [ESV]

A Time to Think … “Advent is the spiritual season of hope par excellence, and in this season, the whole Church is called to be hope, for itself and for the world.” ―Pope Benedict XVI

A Time to Act … What are you longing for this Christmas? What are you waiting for this Christmas? In fact, ask yourself, “what should I really be thinking about Christmas?” It is then you realize it isn’t getting worldly possessions, dazzling decorations, etc. Instead, it is relationships, coming together with one another to celebrate the greatest relationship any of us could ever have—Jesus!

A Time to Pray… O Jesus, precious Savior, shine brightly in all I do this Christmas season; remain in the middle of it all that my words and actions would speak of love, acceptance, hope and joy. Keep me from spending weary hours shopping and fretting. May this season find me walking with a joyous walk, sharing the story of your birth and incredible life to those who are starving for truth and hope. In your name I ask it, AMEN.
