My command is this:
Love each other as I have loved you.

—John 15: 12-10 NIV

A Time to Think … “Not being enslaved to hate was a gift my dad gave me, but he was just re-gifting it from God.”  ―Reggie Dabbs, co-author of Not So Black and White

A Time to Act … When you get up in the morning and look at yourself in the mirror what do you see? Brown, yellow, black, white…or do you see a person—a child of God who, to God, makes not one whit what the color of your skin is? Oh yes, remember that and treat others as God treats you—his beloved child!

A Time to Pray… O Lord, help us to live in a “chocolate world” – the one you designed with light, medium, and dark flavors and none is preferred over the other. You are color-blind God and we would like to think we are but inside our minds choose other sides. By the power of your Holy Spirit, help us to root out the racism in our lives that we may help others to do the same. That is when the Unity of believers will make a difference in this world. In your name we pray, AMEN.
