A Time to Act… Voting is one of the highest privileges we have in our society. Yet, many people don’t vote at all; others are put in areas that make it hard to vote and this gerrymandering suppresses their freedom. There is no other Constitution like the one we have in America, and in 83% of the world many people cannot vote due to race, etc. If we believe God has made us all equal, then ALL should vote! So read, explore deeply about your candidates, and make a mature and hopeful vote—American needs that more than ever!

A Time to Pray… O God of this Universe and God of all Creation, you know our hearts, you know our abilities to be angry and hurtful and demanding, yet you tell us that is NOT how you want us to live and to carry this demeanor in those around you. Help us to be kind, to be thoughtful, to be diligent and to be responsible for whom we elect and the others around us on election day. No matter who wins, you, O Lord, are in charge and we are NOT, AMEN.
