“Break into shouts of joy, you ruins of Jerusalem! The Lord will rescue his city and comfort his people.  The Lord will use his holy power; he will save his people, and all the world will see it.” -Isaiah 52: 9-10 [GNT]

A Time to Act…
“There is no situation so chaotic that God cannot, from that situation, create something that is surpassingly good.” –Handley C. G. Moule, evangelical Anglican theologian, writer, poet, and Bishop of Durham (c. 1841-1920)

A Time to Think…
We easily think more about what is bad rather than thinking of what God has given us: prosperity, abundance—the best of everything. Like the words of Isaiah, break out into joy even if life is hard because you are God’s child and God will take care of you always.

A Time to Pray…
O God, help me to recognize Your influence in my life so I turn to you first, rather than to advice from others and from my own self. I want to live with joy rather than fear when my life comes up against chaotic stuff. You are my Savior now and forever, may I abide in you and live the life you have given me, AMEN.
