“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” -NIV

A Time to Think…
“Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it.”
-Unknown

A Time to Act…
One of the most traditional ways to observe Memorial Day is by visiting cemeteries and placing flags or flowers on the graves of fallen soldiers. This solemn act symbolizes our appreciation and acknowledges the sacrifices made by these courageous individuals.

A Time to Pray…
O Lord, we pray for those who mourn, for the parents who have lost their children, and for all who have lost their loved ones to war. May they be comforted by your presence and cared for in their time of need. Give them strength and help them in their pain and grief. May they find peace in Your presence, as you heal all wounds. Amen.
