A Time to Act … It is easy to say “I trust in a divine plan” but often, especially in this time of our lives with a world pandemic, angry people, loss of jobs, stability, and now an awful condo collapse in Florida where it seems many unsuspecting people have died—is it any wonder that we call out: “God is this really your plan?” We must hold on friends, for everything God does NOT send us evil, but all that God does in our lives is GOOD and for our good, period!

A Time to Pray… God, your plans are good, you tell us, you never break your promises, and I want to believe it in spite of the wickedness around me and it’s getting pretty hard. You tell me “I have plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” I want to trust that but I need your help to do it because my human mind often has a hard time grasping your goodness and grace, especially in turmoil. In your strength, I will seek your presence and there I will find rest for a weary soul and mind, AMEN.
