“Do not slack in your faithfulness and hard work. Let your spirit be on fire, bubbling up and boiling over as you serve the Lord. Do not forget to rejoice for hope is always just around the corner. Hold up through the hard times that are coming and devote yourselves to prayer.  Share what you have with the saints, so they lack nothing; take every opportunity to open your life and home to others.”
Romans 12:11-13 [The Voice]

Time to Think… “Hospitality means primarily the creation of free space where the stranger can enter and become a friend instead of an enemy.” -Henri Nouwen-priest, professor, writer and theologian

Time to Act… When you’re out today, stop and look around, notice someone who may feel overlooked or excluded. Ask God to help them feel seen, welcomed and valued.

Time to Pray… Lord, help me to not be someone who stays away and doesn’t want to open up to others. Remind me that you have created all people and you want me to have room in my heart for them, especially those who need to know you and love you, AMEN.
